Testosterone Support

Onsavo offers a provider-guided testosterone support program for adults who want to understand and address symptoms that may be related to low testosterone. Onsavo is a self-pay telemedicine platform operated by [ONSAVO LEGAL ENTITY]. Onsavo is not a medical practice or a pharmacy. Independent, state-licensed providers affiliated with [AFFILIATED MEDICAL GROUP] review each patient's intake and lab results through telemedicine and decide whether treatment is appropriate. Prescribing is at the provider's sole discretion.

Testosterone therapy is not right for everyone, and it carries meaningful risks. This page explains how the program works so you can decide whether to begin a consultation.

How the Program Works

  1. Complete your intake. You answer questions about your health history, symptoms, current medications, and goals.
  2. At-home lab testing. If a provider determines that testing is appropriate, an at-home lab kit is ordered through [CLIA LAB PARTNER], a CLIA-certified laboratory. Lab testing is ordered and reviewed by a licensed provider. The results help the provider understand your hormone levels and overall health.
  3. Provider review. A licensed provider affiliated with [AFFILIATED MEDICAL GROUP] reviews your intake and lab results through telemedicine. The provider may follow up with questions or recommend additional evaluation.
  4. Treatment decision. Treatment is prescribed only if the provider determines it is clinically appropriate for you. If it is not appropriate, the provider will tell you and may suggest other steps. Prescribing is always at the provider's sole discretion.
  5. Dispensing. If a medication is prescribed, it is dispensed by a partner pharmacy, [COMPOUNDING PHARMACY], and shipped to you.
  6. Ongoing follow-up. Providers may order repeat lab testing and check-ins over time to help monitor your response and safety.

At-Home Lab Testing

Hormone-related symptoms can have many causes, so lab testing is an important part of this program. When a provider orders testing, [CLIA LAB PARTNER], a CLIA-certified laboratory, processes your sample. You collect the sample at home using the kit provided, following the included instructions.

Your results are sent to the licensed provider for review. Lab testing is always ordered and interpreted by a licensed provider; it is not a self-diagnosis tool. The provider uses your results, your symptoms, and your health history together when deciding whether treatment is appropriate.

Who May Be Eligible

You may be a candidate for a provider consultation if you:

  • Are an adult (18 or older) within [STATES SERVED].
  • Have symptoms that may be associated with low testosterone, such as low energy, reduced sex drive, changes in mood, or changes in muscle mass.
  • Are able to complete an honest and complete health intake.
  • Are willing to complete lab testing if a provider orders it.

Eligibility is determined by the provider, not by the platform. Completing an intake does not mean you will be prescribed treatment.

Who Should Not Use This Program

Testosterone therapy is not suitable for everyone. You may not be a candidate, and treatment may not be appropriate, if you:

  • Are trying to conceive now or in the near future, or wish to preserve fertility (see the risk notice below).
  • Have a history of prostate cancer or breast cancer, or an elevated prostate-specific antigen (PSA) that has not been evaluated.
  • Have untreated severe sleep apnea, certain heart conditions, or other conditions your provider identifies as a concern.
  • Have a blood disorder involving high red blood cell counts.

Always share your full health history with your provider so this can be evaluated.

Important Risk Information

Testosterone therapy carries risks, and it is not appropriate for everyone. The information below is a general notice and is not a complete list. Your provider will discuss the risks that apply to your situation.

Possible risks and side effects associated with testosterone therapy may include:

  • Cardiovascular concerns. Testosterone therapy may be associated with cardiovascular risks. Tell your provider about any history of heart disease, stroke, blood clots, or high blood pressure.
  • Fertility effects. Testosterone therapy can lower sperm production and may reduce fertility, in some cases significantly. If you may want to have children, discuss this with your provider before starting.
  • Blood count changes. Testosterone can increase red blood cell counts, which may require monitoring and, in some cases, stopping treatment.
  • Prostate-related effects. Providers may monitor prostate health during treatment.
  • Other effects. These may include acne, fluid retention, mood changes, breast tenderness or enlargement, and worsening of sleep apnea.

Seek medical care right away if you experience chest pain, shortness of breath, weakness on one side of your body, difficulty speaking, or other signs of a serious problem. This page does not replace a conversation with your provider, who can review your individual risks and benefits.

About Compounded Medications

Some testosterone products offered through this program are compounded and are not FDA-approved.

Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality.

Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy ([COMPOUNDING PHARMACY]) based on a prescription from a licensed provider. Your provider will discuss whether a compounded or non-compounded option is appropriate for you, and prescribing is at the provider's sole discretion.

Results Vary

This is a provider-guided, wellness-focused program intended to support your health under the care of a licensed provider. Results vary from person to person, and outcomes cannot be promised. Treatment is not a substitute for a healthy lifestyle, and your provider may recommend other steps alongside or instead of medication.

Pricing and Subscriptions

Onsavo is self-pay. We do not bill insurance. If treatment is prescribed as part of an ongoing program, subscriptions bill monthly. You can cancel at least [X] days before your next monthly billing date. Details on current pricing, what is included, and how to cancel are provided before you enroll and in your account.

Getting Started

To begin, complete the intake to request a consultation with a licensed provider. There is no obligation to continue, and treatment is provided only if a provider determines it is appropriate for you.
